Bon Voyage Mommy & Daddy!

KK & D:  After Memorial Weekend in Fresno we got to stay!  This was so that Mommy and Daddy could shuffle off to Buffalo from Thursday May 30th- Sunday June 2nd.   Buffalo is a place in New York and an animal - just for clarification, they went to the one in New York.   This was for "Big Dave" Akers' Wedding to Allison.  Mommy and Daddy didn't know where Buffalo was but it sounds like they had a blast.  In fact, they had so much fun that I can't even show you some of the pictures of the dancing, drinking, jukebox playing adventures.   Here's what I can show you - don't judge....

 Turns out Buffalo, NY is beautiful.  In upper-state NY (not even close to NYC), close to Canada.

Mommy is pleasantly surprise!

 It was like a college reunion with Daddy's UC Davis best friends.

Mommy and Daddy were so happy to be with Big Dave and Big Joe and Big John and the gang!

 This is where Mommy's addiction to Buffalo Wings began.  She had not had wings before and she's ruined for life by starting at literally the best Wing place on the face of the earth (or so I hear).

Apparently after staying out late in the bars last night, wings were just the cure.

 The wedding on Friday between Dave and Allison was gorgeous!!!

Everyone cleaned up nice :)

 Awesome reception - looks like Daddy is having a blast with his old buddies.

 And the dance floor was on fire!

 FUN!

 And then that happened....Kung Fu Fighting.  

Special...

 On Saturday most of the gang headed to Niagara Falls, only a short drive from Niagara.  It well exceeded Mommy & Daddy's expectations.

First stop, Cave of the Winds.

 WOW - check out the falls!!

 Apparently a team rebuilds these stairs each year - I would NOT want that job.

 Next stop the HURRICANE DECK!

 Then a nice walk over to the top of the falls.

 This gives good perspective of how wet the boat is getting - maybe I'm not quite as jealous anymore!

 Such a fun long weekend, such great friends, such a beautiful wedding.

As Mommy & Daddy reflected after the trip - the sign of great friendships is that neither time nor distance seem to matter once you are together again.
