Chicago Wedding Weekend

KK and D:
Mommy and Daddy were only home one weekend before jetting off again, from June 13-16th.  We had a blast ourselves but don't have the photos to show you.  But it looks like Mommy and Daddy had a blast at Cousin Carolyn's wedding in Chicago.   Mommy had purchased a book about Chicago so we were so happy for them to take pictures to show us the things we've been reading about...

 The "L" elevated train.
The cool water taxi they rode.
 Awesome looking city!
 The bean.

And the thing we really wanted to see - the huge displays that change faces and spit water!

 Silly!

 Go Cubbies!

Go Blackhawks!  SO exciting there were there during the Stanley Cup Finals between Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins.

 Where "Da Bears" play.
The Field Museum.
Yikes!!!  The T-Rex is awfully close to Mommy and Nana!

Daddy looking burley by a Triceratops & Mammoth.

In true Mommy-style, food and drink were paramount.

 Mid-day Champagne Flights.

Portillo's Famous Hot Dogs and the best Italian Beef Sandwich of all time.

And a disappointing Italian dinner but it's the Boston Bruins team right behind Daddy so it's clearly the place to be!!!!

Most importantly, the main event...first their fantastic Rehearsal Dinner in Millenium Park, right below the Bean.
The gorgeous couple!  Love you CC!

So fun for them to see Cousin's Griffin (~2) and Brady (~5 yrs old).
Nana had a blast seeing her family and friends, she grew up just outside of Chicago.

And, Carolyn & Pedro's amazing Wedding!!
Spectacular setting at the University Club overlooking Millennium Park and Lake Michigan.
Nana with Cousin Deen and Daddy.  Beautiful men & women in our family!

Carolyn looked like a Princess (which KK greatly appreciates, as you know....)  Gorgeous!!!!
Mommy, Daddy and Nana with the newlyweds!
Some of the Oscarson Family including Great Uncle Fred (Great-Nana's Brother) & Great Aunt Janet.
Pedro is from Brazil and from what I hear, they know how to party....looks like the rumors are true!

 Call Me Maybe????

Fun times in Chicago!!!
