Fresno Family Fun

KK:  The rest of May was pretty awesome.   One weekend, because our Mom is a big aerospace nerd (yeah baby!) we went to Boeing to participate in an awesome 2 liter rocket launch contest.   Mommy and I made the rocket on our empty 2 liter, including attaching a parachute, then Daddy filled it up with water and we went to the launch pad.  It flew SO fast, but, alas, not so far.  I wish we had photos but we can't find any - boo.

Another weekend while Mommy jetted off to San Francisco for Auntie Rochelle's Baby Shower, we played at home with Daddy and had a blast.  He's super fun.

And then, the last weekend of May, the 25-27th, we headed to Fresno for a little time with the Woods Clan.

As we usually do, we drove to Fresno late at night.  It's great for us because D and I sleep the whole time while Mommy and Daddy need to stay awake.   Well, technically only Daddy HAS to because he's the driver but either way, it makes for a late night.   And, since Owen is still a baby and wakes Lala and Uncle Matthew up at lot at night, the four of us older kiddos got out of the house with Mommy  and Daddy first thing on Saturday morning.   And, Dylan is having sleeping issues too (calling out every hour at night from the pack in play that he barely fit in....)so really, everyone was awake most of the night last night & Mommy/Daddy look rough.   But - NOT ME!  I'm bright-eyed and bushy tailed (which is odd since I don't actually have a tail....)
 Hugs!
We are SO excited to see each other!   And bonus - we LOVE bagels!
Daddy led us in an imaginary Marching Band over from the bagel shop to Starbucks for some chocolate milk.  It was EPIC.  The 6 of us in a row playing imaginary instruments and marching along.   It was so cute that several cars stopped to admire.  Fun times!
 Sweet Milo Johnny.
Daddy gave us free crazy horse rides in the store - so much laughter.
Another lady stopped us to ask if these were all Mommy & Daddy's kids - wow, that would be a LOT.
That afternoon was like a storybook tale as we headed out to the Smittcamp's orchard and, I'm not kidding, rode their family carousel and train.   It was a page from a Norman Rockwell book, or so I'm told - no idea who that guy is...  As I like to say "are you joking me?" - no, we are serious - this is really our life!

 All aboard!!!!
We had a blast with the Woods, Smittcamp and Jones families.
Dylan, the train lover, was out of his mind.  Whenever the train would go out of sight (which is often because it makes a huge loop around the property) he'd run after it yelling "choo-choo, are you?", he skips the word "where" but we know what he's seeking.  It's adorable.

Up front our conductors got to ring the bell.
 A great test in sharing.
Even us girls were into it.  Of course, we're multi-tasking unlike the boys but that's to be expected.

An then an awesome picnic of fried chicken, mac & cheese, salad (lettuce - ewwwwww), fruit (peaches of course!) and cupcakes!!!!

Check out Dylan eyeing my cupcake...busted!!!
Just another evening on the ranch.   Life is good.

The next day Mommy and Papa took us to the park to give everyone else some downtime.  We all played and played, fed the ducks, got chased by the geese, and rode the bear statue.
Fun weekend!
