This place couldn't be more gorgeous.
Cheers and congratulations to Uncle Bud and Auntie Celeste on a dream come true!
D: It's Saturday morning, bright and early and the house is still asleep - time for us early birds to sneak out and take the boat over for breakfast in the village.
D:
I'm two and sometimes I need to show you what the terrible side of the
twos look like. So there! I'm gonna be a cranky pants this morning.
KK: I bet monkey faces will cheer him up....he, he, he. :)
The perfect weekend weather - DD and Mommy on the beach playing with the cousin's old beach toys. So fun!
KK: It's so meant to be. In the dock storage box was a Pink Barbie Fishing Pole. It's like this house was just waiting for my arrival!!! Not to mention the totally awesome bunk room for me and DD.
KK: You can give a man a fish or you can teach him to fish. Daddy is teaching me so I can do it myself.
Settling in on the dock of the lake. So far no bites...
Switched locations to the back of the boat, any takers???
Daddy is the best cabana boy for the house boat and the Arrowhead house. He's such a hard worker and so capable of so many things. He rocks. (And he looks quite studly covered in dirt and sweat from digging out the storage room).
We are all good helpers. Filling up the bird feeder with Uncle Bud. Can't wait for the Blue Jays to visit us here in the town of Blue Jay.
Our favorite time of day on the lake - sunset cocktail cruise.
D: I love Uncle Bud. He's my best boating buddy.
Even Mommy is loving it on the water - Daddy might make a water-baby out of her afterall!
D: I've got the need, the need for speed!
Boating babies.
Bath time is the best when we can do it with Marina!!!!
We seriously cannot wait for Cousin Christiana to get here too!!! We're waiting at the window with our flashlights to welcome her home.
The anticipation is too much to see her - we've gotta move outside!
And early morning snooze on Daddy's lap on the dock.
The off for brunch/lunch with the cousins at the village. Love you ladies!!
What luck! It's Octoberfest!
Why not have a beer...
And listen to a band with a LOT of accordions!!!
D: Snuggling with my Christiana and rocking Marina's glasses.
Rocking the song of the summer - "Put your hands up like the ceiling can't hold us!!!!" Because the ceiling CAN'T hold us for real - we're too happy to be contained!
Learning about all of the best and sweetest things in life with our Macer family.
WE ARE BLESSED.
