They got a date night at their favorite bar and got to preview new drinks for the Cocktail Menu and help name them. Pretty sweet, if you're into that sort of thing.
Then Mommy was off to CO for work and Daddy was hanging with us at home.
And then we got to head all together to Fresno for our Swim Week!
One of the highlights was Apricot picking at a local orchard.
And of course, we love our time with Ann Buchanan, Daddy's long-time swim teacher who we refer to as "the swim whisperer"!
It sure is exhausting building such a big track...
Back home we enjoyed the usual - swim club, playing teacher, going on special one-on-one outings to Starbucks with Mommy so we could practice new skills. (D: like my sweet puzzle master skills)
Then Mommy was off to NYC for work. She presented in something called a "Master Class", which sort of makes her sound like a Ninja Master and that's pretty sweet. She even braved the pouring rain in NYC to make her way to the NY Public Library cause she'd heard about a cool book to get for us there and she sent us pictures so we could see NY. We love it and love the Library Lion book!
Happy to be back we had a nice Saturday walk around Balboa. Superhero Dylan was ready for action! But, sometimes you still need a little boost from your side-kicks - Daddy and Sister.
KK: I got to go to my first Bridal Shower for our cousin. It was super fun especially because I won the "guess the nailpolish" game and you KNOW how I LOVE to WIN!
And we also got to celebrate Father's Day in June! A breakfast fit for a King, handmade mugs and more. Plus church knows how to do the manly things right...
Oh Granters...you are too cute...

Next stop for Mommy was Minneapolis. It's SO cold there in the winter that they have bridges from building to building so you don't have to venture outside. Yikes! Mommy is traveling to speak at a couple of events. We hear her talk all the time so it's not quite such a big deal to us and we don't quite get it. On a happy note though, she did stop by the American Swedish Institute while she was there to get us a bunch of Swedish stuff. And she just happened upon a celebration (Summer Solstice?) and ended up dancing with a bunch of Swedes....hilarious! And she toured a Swedish mansion that talked about Swedish history. Knowing her, the highlight was the incredible Swedish lunch.
But back to the fabulousness that is US....
The second-half of June was a doozy - stay tuned!
