Slow Your Roll in SLO

KK and D:  Score!  At the end of May 2014, we got to go with Daddy on a work trip to San Luis Obispo.  Beach, fun and great times were had by all!

The view from our room - not too shabby!   Great spot to read books and watch the sunset.  And a great spot to work and grab a glass of local vino.

Fun pool here too.

And great restaurants.  But our favorite is the breakfast buffet at the hotel where they have FRUIT LOOPS!

Children's Museum of SLO is great!

Sign of a great day....

Sophisticated sushi eaters at Daddy's favorite spot...

And we are not joking that we ate these!!!!  Freshwater crabs straight from Japan!!!!!

And my first handroll...(not nearly as good as that crab actually....)

Next day was our adventure to Paso Robles...a little wine tasting for mommy, followed by a cool kids museum, and picnic lunch in the park!

Then back and headed to Avila Beach for snack and some rest...ok, not much rest - too much fun stuff when you have beach toys and a park on the sand!

Then into Pismo for fish & chips for dinner with Daddy.  Check out that curly fry!!!!   And then walking the pier without stepping on cracks...pretty hard to do!

Guess what's not so far from SLO?   Well.....it's not Santa Barbara.  Mommy thought that Santa Barbara was super close but it's really not....That's ok, we still had fun going to the Santa Barbara Zoo.

Check out the little fox next to me!

Getting tired...

Oops upside down fun!

Best part was the slide area!

Cool lunch spot in SB.

And back home for some work.

And our highlight for the day, dinner out with Daddy!

nighty night!

Last day in SLO and we hit the Dunes!   Daddy took us for an early morning beach hike to collect Sand Dollars and shells and then we got amazing Cinnamon Rolls.  We even went in a cave!

One of the mornings we grabbed Mommy and headed on a sandy adventure!

As you can tell we had a blast!!!  You should see the videos of us jumping down the sand hill and of Mommy rolling barrel style down the hill and giggling.   Totally awesome fun!!!

Then into SLO for a treat...

And then back to Pismo for a pier walk and game of chase, followed by a yummy pizza dinner.  Although it was a little too cold for a picnic!

Wow, I hope Daddy has more SLO trips in the future!!!
