Road Trip - Day 5

Our first full day in Carmel was ideal. We woke up to sunshine, which is apparently a rarity, and took full advantage of it by heading to the beach.


I loved hanging out under the umbrella and watching the waves.

Eventually it was time for me to suit up and get mentally prepped to brave the wild surf.

I felt safe in my Daddy's strong arms despite the crashing waves behind me but that water was COLD!

All that excitement was exhausting!
