Christmas Adventures

Christmas brings about a lot of unique adventures in SoCal that we try to take advantage of....we are so blessed to live where we live where opportunity abounds.   First stop on our Christmas adventure....the Polar Express, of course!!!!
Goat Hill Junction is a volunteer run small scale train depot.

 All aboard Woods family!
Bummer weather today but fun none the less!

Complete with cookie decorating (& eating!) station.

Savi and the twins with Santa.
Ho, ho, ho!
Thankfully better weather for the Corona Del Mar Christmas Walk.
Giddy up bunnies!

Rock climbing and racing at the park on our way to the Christmas walk.

And this year was our first time ever at the Disney Christmas Parade.
Love you Christiana!  Thanks for spending the magical Disney night with us!!
DD's and his favorite girl - " 'tiana".
The parade was awesome - singing, dancing, floats, Mickey & Minnie ice skating, Pluto even waved to us!  It was awesome.

 Life really IS magical.

And one of the most special parts of the night....after a great dinner in the park we sat in front of the castle and it lit up like snow falling and then snow really fell!!!!
A magical Mickey Christmas for sure!
And this year another new Christmas adventure first for us - the Long Beach Ice Kingdom!
Fake smiles cause the gingerbread gal is sorta scaring us...there is something odd about a hug from something you want to eat....
We'll enjoy some fresh Kettle Corn instead - yeah baby!
 Welcome to our Christmas Adventure!
Time to bundle up and head into the ice dome.

 Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

WOW - we REALLY have to bundle - they give us coats to put over our coats!
We really don't know what to expect.
 WOW - this is amazing!
The whole Nutcracker story has been made out of ice.
It's HUGE.  Check out the size of the evil mouse king behind us.
The level of detail is awesome too.

We're right next to the Queen Mary in Long Beach so the replica made out of ice is perfect.
And check out the ice sliding area!!!!
We flew down the ice like a luge.  Daddy was the fastest!

 At attention soldier Woods!

It was definitely freezing in here but it was beautiful.  What a cool adventure!
Out side of the ice dome we watched a dance recital and checked Santa's Nice List for our names.
We couldn't find them and are a bit worried.

SoCal Christmas is the best!
Thank you Mommy and Daddy for doing so many fun things with us and for us.
Our family rocks!
