November Travels

KK and D:  The weekend of November 7th we headed on "DD's plane / our plane" (i.e.: the Southwest Airlines purple, red and yellow plane) to San Francisco for our Lyons/Macer family reunion and the USC vs CAL football game.   FIGHT ON!!!  Beat the Bears!
Almost bed time and ready for wheels up.
Super tired as we roll into Burlingame.

KK:  But it was SO worth it!!!!
 Good morning Owie!!!
 Who's my Owie Bowie!?!?
D:  Grammy and Papa were not able to come down while Mommy worked so instead she and Lala put us to work!   Milo and I make a mean tuna sandwich - boy power!
Who cares about work when you get to hang with this cuteness?!?!?
Not me!!!
Four little cousins all in a row.
Game on....sarma rolling time!   Grammy, Papa and the Lyons gang arrived to help roll Sarma.
David did the lions share for the Lyons!  Way to go!
 Little t, loves Big T!
And a perfect ending to a perfect day - ribs, whiskey (adults-only) and s'mores!
 DD:  This is serious business!
Mommy and Daddy ordered us a bounce house for Katherine and DH's house while they headed off to CAL and a sea of red.
Love our cousins!!!!!  Fight on USC!
Too bad after breakfast the next day we have to leave for the airport :(
 We've got this dialed in.
D:  I'm checking for my nearest exit.   This brochure is very informative!
Sunday night back home and off in the Duffy for sushi (or for us - Chicken Teriyaki, Udon noodles and Edamame).   With chopsticks, of course!!!
 Oh yeah baby....like a ninja.
And the most awesome part - ice cream!!!!!!!!!!
The next day Mommy was off to NYC for work.
Staying right at Grand Central Station and across from her office building.
She sent us a bunch of pictures from her room because one morning she woke up to SNOW!
We heard stories of epic food & drink - NYC style baby.
And she sends us pictures of Times Square so we can see where she is.

She just missed the unveiling of the Christmas windows (bummer!) but she did hint to Daddy that this is what she wants for Christmas.   It's the entire Cartier store wrapped in a bow.   I'm rarely the pessimist but....good luck with that one Mom....
Thankfully her trip was only a couple days and by three mornings later she was leaving the city at sunrise and heading back to us.
We miss Mommy and such but Daddy is totally awesome.
He did our nails.  Yep, even DD's, but only the thumbs.

And built us the most awesome fort.
 Flashlights are the best fun.
 Daddy is so fun.
And just to seal the deal....s'mores.

He even ordered us a perfect sunset.
Needless to say....Mommy who??????
Just kidding, we did miss her and to show her, we made her a homemade cake and got her flowers.
In Mommy's words...."BEST homecoming EVER."
I mean who wouldn't be thrilled to come home to those two sweet faces???
Score!!!!
