Mommy and Daddy rocked a cooking class for Date Night - Spanish cuisine.
DD found a new place to use for storage (rain boots in the dryer....).
And the best was that Cousin Scotty, who we adore, came to stay with us for a few days.
We took him on the Duffy and had a great time.
And we loved hanging with him to read books. We loved waking him up early in the morning too - he's a good sport! Poor Scotty though - he was supposed to be in South America on his big adventure but a boat propeller cut his foot and he had to come home for surgery. He has a BIG boo-boo that we liked to look at in awe. We're glad he's here but bummed for him to be missing out on his adventure - we know a thing or two about adventures and so we know it's a bad thing to miss out on!
D: Reading around here has taken on a new flavor - Kaitlyn is really reading and has also done an exceptional job of memorizing books so she's a pretty great person to have around. I can now outsource Mommy and Daddy anytime I choose.
KK: My favorite thing to do is to wake up early and start practicing my reading so here I am, showing off my new bed lamp.
