Baby Dedication

KK and D:  At our church, Mariners Church, we do something called Baby Dedications.  These dedications are a time to show thanksgiving, dependence, trust, and commitment to God by our parents for us kiddos.   On Sunday, March 17th, we were dedicated.   We get up on stage at "big church", as opposed to "little church", which is our totally awesome Sunday school class (but it's not school so we get confused by that term and avoid it).   Getting on stage was a little scary.   Then they explain dedications, someone comes and prays over us, they show our pictures and our Life Verse on a big screen, and we're done.   Then, we went home to celebrate with our closest family and friends.   Come join....
Having our family in the audience was so special.
 Waving to our fan club.

Kaitlyn's Life Verse:  "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."  Proverbs 3:5-6

Dylan's Life Verse: "You are the salt of the earth...You are the light of the world.  A town built on a hill cannot be hidden...let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."  Matthew 5:13-16

Praying over us.  We were glad that we pray at home so we knew what to do.  Close your eyes, listen, and peek once in a while for fun. :)

Yeah!
The Daddies walking us back to little church - KK's BFF Savi came into big church to watch!
 Yeah!
 Grrrrrrowl for Papa!
 Handsome men.
 So happy Nana is here!

 Our sweet family.
So happy that Marv and Leigh are here to celebrate with us.  They are our true Auntie and Uncle, even if not by blood.  Love you guys!
And, since it IS St. Patrick's Day afterall, we're rocking our green for the post-dedication party.
Sweet Uncle Ryan is here, even though this is his most favorite holiday.  Now that is true love and sacrifice.
 Beautiful ladies!
Auntie Cole at the kids table.
 El-o-ise - what a ham!
 Sweet Quinners.
 Cheese!
And St. Patrick's Day crafts to keep us all entertained.

We were SO happy that our Macer/Lyons family came to celebrate with us.   We're so blessed to have amazing Godly role models in our lives!
Keeping the bounce house for one more day...priceless.
And the perfect post-back-to-back-party weekend wind down...watching Toy Story with Dylan's new Toy Story dolls while Daddy was out drinking green beer with his best buddies.

Life is good.

God is good....ALL the time!
